Description from the seller
Pictorial diptych from 2002 consisting of two original canvases by Rosa Lamberta, Italian artist from Sant’Arcangelo, in Basilicata. Her artistic research is characterized by the use of intense colors, painterly layering, and material experiments within the realm of contemporary art.
Created in 2002, the two works feature a stylized floral composition, developed through warm tones, chromatic nuances, and overlapping forms. The subject is interpreted in a contemporary key, with particular attention to color and compositional balance. Both canvases are finished with a silver-colored wood edge, an element that enhances their presentation and creates visual continuity between the two works.
The diptych was originally purchased at an art gallery in Potenza and remained for many years in a private collection. The artist’s exhibition activity includes the solo show Le meraviglie negate, presented in Potenza in 2011.
Each canvas measures 71 × 91 cm. The signature and dating should be verified directly on the works. The two canvases are offered jointly as an indivisible diptych.
