Description from the seller
Title: Winter
Photograph by Marius Cinteză, Romanian fine art photographer based in Bucharest, Romania.
Date of capture: 7 March 2015
Date of print: 26 October 2026
About the work:
A quiet winter scene from the Romanian countryside, reduced to its essentials. A single figure stands at the crest of a snow-covered hill, framed by bare trees and a vast, luminous white sky. The high-key tonality and the generous negative space give the image a calm, contemplative presence, evoking solitude, perspective and the stillness of the season.
The tiny human silhouette sets the scale of the landscape and gives the composition its focal point. Clean lines, soft gradations of white and a few deep blacks make it a refined piece for modern, minimalist or Scandinavian interiors.
Printed on archival fine art paper in A2 format (59.4 x 42 cm), with an additional 2 cm white border for easy framing. Signed and numbered by the photographer on the back and accompanied by a signed and stamped Certificate of Authenticity.
Printing process: Giclée print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm, 100% cotton, archival quality paper, A2 image (59.4 x 42) + 2 cm white border.
Edition: 1/10
Signature / stamp: Signed and stamped lower right on verso.
Provenance: Own photo print collection of the artist.
Documentation: Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Condition: Very fine.
