AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Beautiful and finely made pair of vintage figural two-branch candlesticks with a detailed, pastoral scene of a man and a woman in period costume, surrounded by leaves and ears of corn. The candlesticks stand on an elegantly openworked foot. On the underside they are marked with "MOD. DEP." (Modèle Déposé), indicating a protected design.
Thanks to the substantial size and considerable weight, these are absolute eye-catchers. The set is in nice vintage condition with a atmospheric, authentic patina.
