ottaviani alessandro - Vero instinct

Ottaviani Alessandro, Italian artist, drawing 2021 on paper 100x70 in oil pastels, I have embarked on this path with oil pastels, expressing myself with instinct and speed, leaving the image fragmented and uncertain in some parts, just like the sensation of the period I’m living through; everything is fast and there is the sense of not fully completing anything. The work is signed at the bottom left. This portrait is part of a series of portraits executed with the same technique.
