Title: Silence of the Village
Dimensions: 55 x 55 cm
Artist: Ivar Keld
Year: 2025
Ivar Keld, born in 1980, is a contemporary painter known for his atmospheric landscapes and solitary figures immersed in vast, silent spaces. Influenced by Nordic light and the emotional force of nature, his work explores themes of isolation, contemplation, and the subtle dialogue between humans and the landscape. Through muted palettes and a vibrant painterly surface, Keld builds scenes in which time seems to slow down and the silence becomes almost tangible. His works do not seek drama, but the quiet intensity of waiting—moments suspended in which human presence appears fragile and infinite at the same time.
Note: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
Worldwide shipping via UPS.
