Binding of L’Illustration – 2 volumes - Year 1915 - Complete - Red cloth bindings
Famous weekly that marked the history of the French press.

Books in generally good condition. Interior in good condition, fresh and clean. The bindings are worn and show a restoration to attach the booklets to the two bindings (transparent ribbon neatly executed). The exterior of the two bindings is in good condition. A few pages detached (often some supplements outside pagination that have historically been added to the magazines)

The Christmas Special Issue is present as well as the issue featuring Flameng’s sketches (Rare!). A rare colored drawing by Hansi.
Abundantly illustrated, including many black-and-white and color illustrations as well as photographs from the front.
Unusually high historical and documentary interest.
