Giandomenico Veneziani was born in Bisceglie, a seaside town in Puglia. He graduated in Marketing from the University of Bari. His journey began as a self-taught photographer, having developed an interest in photography at a young age. Over time, he learned various techniques and explored the infinite possibilities of artistic creation. Photographic experimentation found broad expression during his travels in Europe, Asia and South America. In 2019, he created a personal photography project entitled “El Camino – Faces and Places around Sacred Valley,” set in Peru. He is inspired by people, their stories, faces and emotions. For him, photography is an important way to share the feelings and stories of his subjects. He draws inspiration above all from music, painting, books and films. To broaden his horizons, he passionately and attentively studies the most important photographers who have shaped the history of photography, including the great masters of fashion photography. In this field, he strives to create unique and unconventional shots, giving his work a cinematic vision and seeking to create surreal, dreamlike atmospheres. In recent years, he has achieved important results in international competitions such as 35Awards, The Independent Photographer, LensCulture, AllAboutPhoto, PX3, IPA, TIFA, BIFA, Monochrome Awards and reFocus Awards. This year, he represented Italy as a national judge in the final phase of the 35Awards competition. He also has numerous publications in fashion magazines such as GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Iconic Artist, Lewis Magazine, Kaltblut, Nasty Magazine, Flanelle and Rebel. He has published several photographic works on PhotoVogue. Over the last four years, he has exhibited his work in art galleries in New York, Paris, London, Milan and Venice.
