Andre Lichtenberg - Sermoneta Van, 1994

A rare vintage silver gelatin print (Ilford Fiber base) of Sermoneta - A medieval walled hill town in central Italy. The work was hand printed by the artist in 1996 in a very small edition of 4 prints only. Print no 1 of the edition was later selected and displayed at the "I wish, I wish " exhibition at the famous LPG - London Photographers Gallery in Dec 1996.

The lot comes with a signed & dated Certificate of Authenticity. The print will be shipped flat, (tracked and insured) protected in acid free materials between two rigid boards and reinforced packaging.

Lichtenberg's images have been selected for many international awards and exhibitions. His work has been displayed outside the IRCAM / Centre Pompidou in Paris, France in 2015/16 for several months. Recently one of his monnlight pieces have received an honorary mention by Marion Tandé of MoMA, New York.

André Lichtenberg's work has been exhibited in museums and private galleries worldwide, including the Barbican Centre London in 1998 and Fabrica, Gallery in 2018. His artworks are represented in numerous international art collections including the prestigious Joseph Cohen Family Collection in NY.
