- About the artwork:
"ULURU"

Unique piece
Cropline Series
Signed at the top right
Year 2026
The Cropline series was born from a reflection on each person's journey.
The destination point is symbolized by a reference point, while the lines that intertwine evoke detours, choices, obstacles, and encounters that build a path in life.
No trajectory is perfectly straight. Some lines cross, loop back on themselves, or wander before regaining their direction, like our own experiences.
Each work is named after a real place, not to offer a faithful representation, but to convey a sensation, an energy, or an emotion through an original graphical composition.
In Uluru, the lines stretch toward the Australian sacred monolith, guiding the eye through a landscape where geometry and light echo each other. The curves of the road meet the mineral power of Uluru, creating a balance between the path traveled and the one still to be invented, between orientation and freedom..
- About the artist:
Frédéric Truteau is a self-taught painter born in Marseille in 1970. He now lives near Aix-en-Provence.
Through his various series, he explores diverse graphic universes where each project develops its own visual language.
With Cropline, he intentionally moves away from his street art creations to offer a more pared-down exploration, built around the concept of journey. The lines become a metaphor for the paths each person takes, the decisions, detours, and encounters that shape an existence.
His work blends geometric abstraction, bold colors, and cultural references to create works with multiple levels of meaning: immediately accessible through their aesthetics, they also invite the viewer to project their own story onto them.
Each canvas is handmade and unique.
