Sunbeam Alpine series IVa with overdrive! 

Beautiful Sunbeam Alpine series IVa for sale from 1965 with Laycock overdrive and syncromesh. There were only 4,470 Alpines built for this IVa series!
This Alpine features the powerful 1725cc engine with Stromberg carburettor. It starts, drives and brakes perfectly. It has 4 gears, with overdrive on the 3rd and 4th gear.

I still drive it regularly in dry weather. All meters in the dashboard work properly and the s soft-top opens and closes easily. The (original) red paint is in good condition, except for some minor superficial corrosion spots.

This is a unique vintage car rarely seen amongst the many Spitfires or MGBs!

New parts (replaced in 2020):

Spark plugs and spark plug cables
Contact breakers
Clutch cylinder
Oil filter
Gearbox oil replaced, ball joints lubricated and engine tuned.

The car has been inspected as a vintage car until 2023. Registration documents and invoices for older repairs/restorations are included.

The car can be viewed in Ardooie, West Flanders.
