Description
Märklin H0 - 3070 - Train unit - "Trans Europ Express Triebwagenzug" RAm 502 - SBB-CFF
AC - Alternating current/Analogue - Very good condition - In original box

Three-piece train set, railcar with 2x three-axle bogies. Other parts equipped with two-axle bogies. Beige with red livery of the Trans Europ Express, housed at the Swiss railways (SBB). Carriages with plastic body, silver framed windows and finely detailed inscription: SBB-CFF RAm 502. Furthermore, with three-pole plugs between the units, interior lighting and special close couplings. The model has 3-point front and 2-point red end-signal lighting that alternates with changes in the direction of travel

The total length of the train set is 70 cm and it was produced by Märklin in the years 1965 - 1970.

(When it was introduced in 1965, this train was immediately a crowd favourite. Many boy's hearts started beating faster. It was one of Märklin's showpieces and even adorned the front and rear of the 1965/66 catalogue. However, having the train was not for everyone. The three-part set cost fl. 135 - With an extra carriage fl. 28,50. That seems like a pittance these days, but was a fortune back then.

The model is in very good condition. With straight bins (which often were warped). A small downside is that the windows have glue residues.
