This is an impressive Ridgway porcelain tea service made between 1820 and 1825, which is known as the Regency period. It is decorated with A cobalt blue background, beautiful hand-painted and golden flowers. The set is composed by:
a teapot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, 2 plates, a cup, 6 cups of tea, 4 cups of coffee. 2 coffee cups without saucers.
The shape is typical of the period and it is called "Old English relief-moulded shape". The side plates in this set were later additions by Copeland.
