At auction, we offer a lutherie luthier-made 4/4 violin with two labels inside.

An exact Stainer reference model, as also shown by the brand on the back.
The other is marked “William H Moennig 1961 Philadelphia”. 

Dimensions:
59.5 (total violin length) 
36 body, 17.00, 20.00, 10.5 sound box. 

As shown in the attached photos, there are no missing parts or visible cracks, only signs of wear and tear. I would like to point out that the violin was entrusted to me for sale by an elderly lady; it belonged to her musician husband, who had it examined by a luthier of his trust who confirmed an excellent luthier’s work and the need to be tuned up and played only. I am not a musician nor an expert, and I can say nothing about its sound. The measurements were taken by me with the measuring tape, trying to be as accurate as possible. The hard case is recent and never used, with hygrometer, zip and safety fasteners; there are no other accessories. Look carefully at the photos, which are part of the description.
