Antique Jewish scroll, handwritten on parchment - 19th century

This Torah scroll consists of 18 contiguous sheets of parchment. The leaves are 23 cm high. Total length of the roll approx. 292 cm. The length of the wooden roll is 45.5 cm. The roll is enclosed by a leather strap with closure. The strap has a metal plate on which the 72 Holy Names of God can be read in Hebrew. These are also called the 72 Angelic Names of the Kabbalah.
