A magnificent large antique Chinese high quality bronze statue depicting a standing immortal god of literature Large Wenchang Wang wearing a long Gawn waving in the wind. Many details in his face and adornments, absolute top quality bronze.
Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Ming dynasty, ca. 1590-1640. On the bottom nicely shaped feet, showing age and material. Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Magnificent patina and remnants of gilding, according to age. 

Height: 22,8 centimeter

Condition: The object is in very good condition, obviously the wooden part is from a later date, otherwise no damages or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
