This is a two-piece set of commemorative medals designed by Taro Okamoto for the 1972 Sapporo Olympics. 

The medals are in very good condition. 

The case is also in good condition, although the exterior white part has turned slightly yellow, and there are some stains on the interior fabric. 

The outer paper case is only for the gold medal; there is no paper case for the silver medal.
