Six String Stories signed by Eric Clapton


This is a new hardcover edition of Six String Stories in a slipcase from Genesis Publications, signed by Eric Clapton.

Only 2000 pieces were produced, this is number 568.
Starting with his blues roots and early days, Clapton's signed limited edition traces his entire career through the tools of his trade: his guitar. SIX-STRING STORIES is told in Clapton's own words, with background information on each instrument and archival photographs spanning five decades.

Clapton not only shared his previously unpublished stories and photos, but also personally signed each numbered copy of “Six-String Stories” as a sign of his approval.

The handmade cover is inspired by the content of the book.

This is in cherry red leather with quarter binding to match Clapton's famous Gibson ES-335.

The silhouettes of some of his most famous guitars are printed in gold and silver foil on the cover.

In addition, the 376 pages of the book are gold-edged.

A buckram-covered slipcase with leather accents houses the limited edition.

The title is screen-printed on the front and resembles the “Cream” and “Derek and The Dominos” stencils that mark Clapton’s early guitar cases.

Dies ist eine neue gebundene Ausgabe von Six String Stories im Schuber von Genesis Publications, signiert von Eric Clapton.

Es wurden nur 2000 Stück hergestellt, dies ist die Nummer 568.
Beginnend mit seinen Blues-Wurzeln und frühen Tagen zeichnet Claptons signierte limitierte Ausgabe seine gesamte Karriere anhand der Werkzeuge seines Handwerks nach: seiner Gitarre. Zudem sind die 376 Seiten des Buches mit Goldschnitt versehen. 

Ein mit Buckram überzogener Schuber mit Lederakzenten beherbergt die limitierte Auflage. 

Der Titel ist im Siebdruckverfahren auf die Vorderseite gedruckt und ähnelt den Schablonen „Cream“ und „Derek and The Dominos“, die Claptons frühe Gitarrenkoffer kennzeichnen.
