The Sahara Stool is a unique, handcrafted piece by Dutch designer Chris Ruhe. First created during his time at the Wood and Furniture College in Amsterdam, the design took over eight years to perfect.

Made from steam-bent wooden rings carefully glued together, the stool has a gentle, springy movement. This allows it to adjust slightly as you sit, offering comfort and encouraging active sitting, ideal for use as a desk chair.

The stool has become popular with anyone who appreciates smart, thoughtful design. This version is made in beautiful cherry wood, with most of the work done by hand.

A true example of Dutch craftsmanship, both functional and sculptural.
