Pair of large decorative metal vases with classical Greek-inspired motifs

A striking pair of large decorative metal vases, made from a metal alloy (exact composition unknown), each mounted on a turned wooden base. The vases are accompanied by their original removable inner metal cups, designed to be placed inside the bodies of the vessels.

The surfaces are richly decorated with classical Greek-inspired relief scenes, depicting standing draped figures in an antique style, along with scrolling and ornamental details around the body and rim. The handles feature elegant curved forms, further enhancing the classical aesthetic.

Total weight: approx. 5 kg (both vases combined)

Condition:
Good decorative condition, with surface wear, light scratches, and patina consistent with age and use. The wooden bases show minor wear. The inner cups are present and fit correctly. Please refer to the photographs for detailed condition.

These vases have a strong visual presence and are ideal as interior decorative pieces, suitable for collectors or enthusiasts of classical / neoclassical decorative art.
