Mond geblazen kristallen karaf en 4 kristallen waterglazen gedoopt in echt goud door Front (by HUB Design, Zweden) in samenwerking met Skitsch Design (Milaan, Italië).
Italië / Zweden 2010.
Italiaans design met een Scandinavische touch.

Het werk van Front is vertegenwoordigd in MoMA, Victoria & Albert Museum, M+, Nationalmuseum, Vitra Design Museum en Centre Pompidou.

Deze collectie getiteld ‘Midas’ stelt een hedendaagse en ironische versie van luxe glaswerk uit antieke tijden voor.
De karaf en glazen zijn gedoopt in echt goud.

Ongebruikt en in originele dozen.

FRONT by HUB Design:
Sofia Lagerkvist en Anna Lindgren zijn de leden van de Zweedse designgroep Front. Hun werken zijn gebaseerd op gemeenschappelijke discussies, verkenningen en experimenten en ze werken samen aan alle projecten, van de eerste ideeën tot het eindproduct. De designobjecten van Front communiceren vaak een verhaal naar de toeschouwer over het ontwerpproces, over het materiaal waarvan het gemaakt is of over conventies binnen het ontwerpveld. In hun werk hebben zij een deel van het maken van ontwerpen toebedeeld aan dieren, computers of machines. Ze hebben een voortdurend veranderend interieur gemaakt, objecten gemaakt met explosies, robotmeubilair en een reeks meubels geïnspireerd door hun fascinatie voor magie.
