32.	ACCA MS-64, 1911D Germany 2 Mark, 90th Birthday of Prince Regent Luitpold

32. ACCA MS-64, 1911D Germany 2 Mark, 90th Birthday of Prince Regent Luitpold
Lyutpod was born in 1821, as his second brother Otto had no children and was the presumptive heir to the Greek throne. However, the Greek constitution required that Otto's heirs should belong to the Greek Orthodox Church. Otto was deposed in 1862 and replaced by Prince William of Denmark, who became King George I of Greece. Otto died in 1867, leaving Lütpold and his descendants as representatives of Otto's claims. But Lütpold never asserted that right. However, Lütpold was regents for a long time, known as the "Prince Regency", due to the political passivity of the era after Lütbold's interests in Bavaria gradually shifted to the German Empire. In connection with the unfortunate end of the previous reign of King Ludwig II, the rupture of the Bavarian monarchy looks even stronger. Finally, historians believe that the constitutional amendment of 1913 decisively broke the continuity of the king's rule, especially since this change had already been approved by the state parliament as the Chamber of Deputies, and thus indirectly meant Bavaria's first steps towards parliamentary rule. Today, the connection of these two developments is considered to be the main reason for the lackluster end of the Kingdom of Bavaria without opposition in the course of the November 1918 revolution. However, during his 26 years of regency, Lyutpod overcame the initial uneasiness of his subjects through modesty, competence, and popularity. The years of these princely regency eventually made a difference, especially when it is recalled as the golden age of Bavaria, even though people still mourn what happened to the "fairy tale king" Ludwig II in folkloric nostalgia.
This coin is in excellent condition, with a score of 64 points, and the front and back figures, lighting and numismatic details are clearly and beautifully, making it a rare and beautiful silver coin that collectors should not miss.
