Description:
Striking and highly collectible Bay Keramik floor vase from West Germany, model number 963-45, dating from the 1960s. This large and boldly decorated piece features a deeply textured relief design with stylized floral motifs in green, ochre, and brown glazes. The dramatic glaze technique and vibrant color palette are emblematic of West German mid-century modern design.

Bay Keramik was founded in 1933 by Eduard Bay and became one of the leading manufacturers during the golden era of West German pottery. This model is believed to have been produced under the artistic direction of Bodo Mans, one of the prominent designers associated with Bay during the 1950s–60s.
