Glenfarclas 30 years old Warehouse Edition - 70cl

Glenfarclas is one of few family-run distilleries remaining in Scotland. Over the years, the family have made great efforts to protect the brand and the distilleries traditions and these efforts have paid dividends, with a number of popular, top quality whiskies coming out of their warehouses. This particular bottling is a 30 Year Old single malt that brings everything you would expect from a well-aged whisky and then some. Expect complex fruits, candied peels, rich oak and cinnamon spice on the nose, before the palate arrived with almond biscuits, juicy berries, more oak, and bitter chocolate. The finish is long, chocolaty and oaky – an exquisite end to an exquisite dram.

Colour: Full Rich Dark Gold.

Nose: Gingerbread, glacé cherries, candied orange and lemon, and spicy cloves.

Palate: Rich and sweet, with brown sugar, allspice, cinnamon and rich fruit cake.

Finish: Long and lingering spice, with cinnamon, clove and a hint of warming anise.
