ALGEMEEN:
De MGA kwam in  op de markt. Met deze auto sloeg MG, betreffende vormgeving, een nieuwe weg in. Na zijn voorgangers MG TD en MG TF, die nog in grote lijnen gebaseerd waren op de vooroorlogse MG TB, was het een zeer moderne sportief gelijnde roadster. De MGA werd, evenals zijn voorgangers, een groot succes en wederom werd het grootste gedeelte verkocht in Amerika. De MGA werd tot  voorzien van een  cc. viercilinder motor. Vanaf dat jaar kreeg de auto een  cc. viercilinder. De  cc. motor werd in  opgevolgd door een  cc. viercilinder. De vroege MGA versies, tot , zijn voorzien van, erg goede, trommelremmen rondom. Vanaf  werd de MGA met schijfremmen op de voorwielen uitgerust. De laatste MGA, de A  Mk II, werd in  voor het laatst geproduceerd. Deze zeer succesvolle Britse sportwagen werd opgevolgd door de MGB die het succes van de MGA nog verder uit zou bouwen.
Dit specifieke exemplaar betreft een MGA Coupé uit . (dus met schijfremmen voorzijde) Nieuw geleverd in Amerika, en in  door de voorlaatste en enige Nederlandse eigenaar naar Nederland geëxporteerd. Voorzien van de sterkere .cc motor met pk. De auto is in Amerika volledig gerestaureerd (naar Europese standaard) en verkeert nog steeds in een erg mooie conditie.
Deze auto is o.a uitgerust met : Luces verstralers - massaschakelaar - gordels - chromen knock off spaakwielen - V systeem en een wisselstroomdynamo. De MGA-coupé is een zeldzaamheid vergeleken met het roadster-model; er werden slechts ongeveer  coupés gebouwd en meer dan . roadsters! Dit is een zeer begeerlijk exemplaar in sublieme conditie!

CARROSSERIE/LAKWERK:
Het lakwerk ziet er fantastisch uit. Op het linker voorscherm is een kleine beschadiging uit het verleden die is bijgewerkt en op de achterklep zijn er een paar oneffenheden onder de lak. Verder is de gehele auto smetteloos. Ook de onderzijde verkeert in een super staat. 

TECHNISCH:
De cc motor doet z'n werk naar behoren. Slaat soepel aan en pakt goed op. De handgeschakelde  bak laat zich ook op de juiste manier zonder kraken bedienen. De auto is goed onderhouden en verkeert technisch in een hele goede staat.

INTERIEUR:
Het interieur is tijdens de restauratie vervangen en ziet er nog steeds als nieuw uit. Hier en daar enkele kleine gebruikerssporen en verder alles in topstaat! 

DOCUMENTEN:
Er is een ordner aanwezig met diverse facturen, keuringspapieren en correspondentie.

AFHALING:
Auto dient opgehaald te worden. Transport is in overleg en tegen meerprijs mogelijk. (wereldwijd) Wij kunnen ook de exportdocumenten verzorgen.

OVERIGE INFORMATIE:
Het betreft een zeldzame MG-A Coupe in absolute topstaat waar u zo in kunt stappen en kunt gaan genieten van echt klassiek rijden, top auto!
