Akai AM-2400 – strak, zwaar, en onverstoorbaar

Er zijn versterkers die je aanzet en weer vergeet. En dan heb je versterkers zoals deze Akai AM-2400: eentje die je wilt aanzetten, bedienen, voelen, horen. De combinatie van zwaar aluminium, warme houten kap en oldschool drukknoppen maakt dit een apparaat dat z’n plek opeist – ook als hij uit staat.

Maar vergis je niet: onder die mooie buitenkant zit gewoon een serieuze versterker. Hij levert 2 × 40 watt, heeft een fijne phono-ingang voor je platenspeler, aparte bass/treble regelaars met instelbare turnover-frequenties, en dubbele tape-loops. Wat je krijgt is niet alleen klank, maar ook controle – en dat zonder menuschermen of apps.
