This Technics RS-B565 is a high-quality 2-head, 2-motor stereo cassette deck equipped with Class AA amplifier technology and PXS capacitors. The unit is fully functional: playback, recording, fast winding, and all controls work properly. It delivers clean, dynamic sound, typical of this well-regarded Technics series. Included is the 'Abbey Road' cassette by The Beatles to get started right away.

The RS-B565 features Dolby B and C noise reduction, as well as HX Pro headroom extension, enabling higher recording levels with reduced distortion. Tape handling is precise, thanks to the 2-motor transport system. The deck offers support for Normal, Chrome, and Metal tapes, with manual bias fine-tuning for optimal recording quality.

The front panel includes a large, clear fluorescent peak level meter, separate input level controls for left and right channels, and comprehensive tape monitoring features. The cassette mechanism uses soft-touch logic control for smooth operation.

The housing is in very good condition, showing only very light signs of stacked use on the topside. The display is bright, and all buttons, knobs, and the cassette door function smoothly.

Included are the plug-in powercable and a set of gold-plated RCA cables. Also included with this lot are 'Abbey Road' by The Beatles on cassette, and a printed copy of the original English user manual.

This cassette deck will be packaged with care – based on extensive experience in shipping vintage audio – using a strong box, protective materials, and secure support for all components.
