Zeldzame Voorstelling: Schepen van de Holland Amerikalijn aan de Wilhelminakade te Rotterdam!!

Na een opleiding aan de Haagse tekenacademie rond de eeuwwisseling werkte Gerard Delfgaauw in naturalistisch-impressionistische stijl. Hij woonde en werkte in Rijswijk. Hij schilderde veel landschappen en stadsgezichten (onder andere van Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Dordrecht en Delft). Tot zijn werk behoren een reeks dynamische Rotterdamse havengezichten, waaronder De Nieuw Amsterdam en de Statendam afgemeerd aan de Wilhelminakade. Het werk van deze impressionistische kunstenaar is opgenomen in de collectie van diverse musea, waaronder die van Rijswijk en Dordrecht. Met innemende kleuren en een losse penseelstreek weet Delfgaauw de kijker uit te nodigen zijn nostalgische landschappen te betreden.

Schilderij verkeerd in zeer goede staat, doekmaat 60X100CM. Handgemaakte lijst met minimale gebruiks/ouderdomssporen wordt gratis met het schilderij meegeleverd bij afhaal bij verzending zonder door kwetsbaarheid en grootte.
