Ger van Oers

 vijf zeer fraaie antieke lichtgewicht steelpannen (geschikt voor decoratie en klein gebruik, niet professioneel)

Dijon is een stad in het zuiden van België, in de provincie Namen, die zich sinds de middeleeuwen ontwikkelde tot een van de belangrijkste centra van de Europese metaalbewerking. Van de 12e tot de 15e eeuw werden de ambachtslieden uit Dijon zo beroemd dat het woord dinanderie in het Frans synoniem werd met kopersmeedkunst.
Na de aanval van Karel de Stoute ( duke of burgundy ) in 1466 werd de stad bijna volledig verwoest, maar de traditie van het dubbelloops metaalbewerking werd nieuw leven ingeblazen en bleef tot in de moderne tijd bestaan.
Het meeste werk van LE MARCO dateert uit de 20e eeuw, met name uit het midden van de vorige eeuw, rond 1950-1970, toen er een hernieuwde belangstelling ontstond voor traditioneel koperen kookgerei en decoratiegerei. Dit keukengerei had meestal ijzeren of bronzen handvatten.
