William Mallucu (1975), Pendant, an original acrylic abstract work comprising two 40 × 40 cm canvases from the 2010–2020 period.
Description from the seller
William Malucu lives and works in Brazil, Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro. He predominantly paints abstract works, employing various techniques. His paintings feature relief work, airbrushing, oil paint, and acrylic paint.
All his canvases are painted on linen, with the paintings overpainted over the corner on a wide stretcher frame. These paintings therefore do not require a frame. Each painting he has painted is signed on the back and accompanied by a certificate. Signing the back of the canvas is deliberately done so that the painting can be hung both horizontally and vertically. William started painting when he was 15 years old, and after a few years, he took lessons from the well-known Brazilian artist Luiz Ernesto. In 2000, William won the first prize at Salon de Paisagem, one of the most renowned galleries in Rio de Janeiro. His work can be found in several galleries across Europe.
This pendant is 2 × 40 × 40 cm.
Viewings are of course possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we make use of restorers from the industry organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you wish to utilize this service, please let us know. Collection of purchased works can be arranged on Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 to 17:00, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 14:00, and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00.
