Orthodoxe Auferstehungsikone oder Anastasis-Ikone (von altgriechisch ἀνάστασις „Auferstehung“).
Sie stellt den Sieg Jesu über Tod und Hölle dar. 

Jesus steht im Zentrum des Bildes, seine Füße zertreten die Pforte der Unterwelt, unter ihm ein schwarzer Abgrund (Hades) und das rotglühende Höllenauge. Er ist in einer Mandorla (Mandel) dargestellt, eine Glorie oder Aura („Aureole“) rund um die ganze Figur.

Links sieht man Apostel und Adam, dem Jesus die Hand reicht. 
Auf der rechten Seite Eva mit zur Verehrung verhüllten Händen, über ihr die Könige David und Salomo, darüber der Prophet Elias.


Holz vertieft, Levkas, Goldgrund, Eitempera - Palecher Schule
Guter Erhaltungszustand - wenige Verwerfungen, ein Längsriss wurde restauriert, kleine Randschäden, ein Sponki fehlt, fast keine Wölbung
Datierung: ~ 20. Jahrhundert


Diese Ikone ist Teil einer großen gepflegten Privatsammlung seit den 1980er Jahren mit über 70 Stücken aus Russland und Griechenland. Alle Ikonen wurden professionell aufbereitet (gereinigt etc.) und detailliert dokumentiert.
