In questa asta un enorme ed imponente specchiera con cornice antica in legno massello a foglia di oro risalente al XIX sec - con specchio in omaggio al mercurio . 

I decori sono ricchi e pomposi e sfrarzosi.

La cornice specchiera misura :  1 metro e 9 centimetri x 92 cm 
109 cm x 92 cm !!!

La cornice è molto datata e lo si nota dal retro dove si osserva una cornice detta a “ cassettone” ossia gli angoli sono rinforzati nella loro conformazione con incroci di legni detti a cassetto.
Questo su tutti e quattro gli angoli. 

Il decoro della cornice è molto sfarzoso ed impreziosito da ricchi dettagli decorativi tipici dell artigianato artistico del passato. 

Le dorature sono in ottimo stato conservativo e mantengono comunque la patina storica. 
Lo specchio presenta qualche difetto , ma non pregiudica la bellezza della cornice ed è offerto gratuitamente. 

Il gancio di sostegno sul retro è in ferro battuto ed antico anch’esso , è stato aggiunto un gancio moderno per l esposizione verticale . 

Si osservano tuttavia qualche antico ritocco e restauro . 
La specchiera è di grandissimo impatto visivo perfetta per decorare entrate di dimore , all di hotel , agriturismi , strutture ricettive .
