Michel Karis

Kristallen karaf + 6 originele bijpassende likeurglaasjes van Karl Palda, versierd met rode en wit mat gezuurde patronen.
De karaf heeft de originele en bijpassende, facetgeslepen stop en een brede basis die taps toeloopt naar een smalle hals.
Het specifieke ontwerp met rode en mat gezuurde geometrische patronen is kenmerkend voor de Art Deco periode.
Origine: Karl Palda uit Haida, Bohemen, Tsjechoslowakije. Periode; 1933-1938.
Karl Palda was een toonaangevende ontwerper en producent van glas en kristal, vanaf 1888 in Haida, Bohemen.
Hij was vooral actief en gewaardeerd tijdens de Art Deco periode (ongeveer 1933-1938), waar zijn ontwerpen zich onderscheidden door inventieve abstracte en geometrische decoraties.
Zijn stukken zijn handgeblazen en zwaar van kwaliteit, met complexe en kubistische vormen en facetten.
De hoogte van de karaf, met stop, is 25 cm. De glaasjes zijn 7 cm hoog.
Het geheel verkeert in perfecte, ongeschonden staat en is nergens bijgeslepen of bewerkt !
