Cachet en argent massif  et turquoise – Fleur de Lys mariale

Origine : Proche-Orient, travail d’orfèvrerie orientalisante pour le marché européen
Époque : fin XIXᵉ siècle (vers 1880–1910)

Cachet cylindrique en argent finement ciselé de rinceaux végétaux, ponctué de cabochons turquoise sertis clos et terminé par un sommet bombé à décor gravé. La monture est percée de quatre anneaux latéraux, permettant un port en pendentif ou une suspension.

La base porte une matrice gravée d’une fleur de lys stylisée :
	•	symbole royal et héraldique lié à la monarchie française,
	•	mais aussi symbole religieux traditionnellement associé à la Vierge Marie (pureté, royauté céleste, emblème des confréries mariales).
	
Matériau : argent (testé) et cabochons turquoise
Dimensions : 10 cm – Ø matrice env. 2 cm

État : très bon, usures d’usage, légères traces anciennes

Objet rare et raffiné, à la croisée de l’orfèvrerie orientale et de l’iconographie chrétienne, réunissant à la fois l’élégance décorative et la charge symbolique de la fleur de lys.
