Design and Usage
The Seamaster Cosmic 166.026 stands out with its “monocoque” case. This design requires access to the mechanism by removing the winding glass, as the watch has no back cover. This feature was developed to increase the watch’s water resistance.

The Caliber 565 movement has a quick date setting feature. The date is set by pulling and releasing the crown. However, doing this close to midnight can damage the mechanism, so caution is advised.
