Edward Enninful has selected a series of his favourite Monet artworks including ones which have heavily influenced his work notably fragments of the Water Lilies from the musée de l’Orangerie. Regarded as one of the leading voices in the creative industry working today, Edward Enninful OBE, the curator of this special collection, has helped bring widespread distinction to global fashion. The only black person to serve as Editor-in-Chief in Vogue’s history, Edward successfully transformed the publication into a diverse and inclusive multi-platform brand. Edward’s dedication to diversity in fashion was honoured with the presentation of an OBE.

Offered by the painter Claude Monet to France the very day after the armistice of November 11, 1918 as a symbol of peace, the Water Lilies were installed according to his plans at the musée de L’Orangerie in 1927, a few months after his death.
Dotted with aquatic plants, including countless water lilies which give their name to this great painting cycle from the end of the painter’s life, this immense composition takes us to the heart of a continuum of distributed time and space, in the two rooms of the musée de L’Orangerie evoking the soft light of morning. With this extraordinary collection, living with a fragment from a masterpiece by Claude Monet is now possible. Monet lovers can bring home a limited edition print of a fragment of their dream masterpiece and live a memorable art collector’s experience.
