Technique & Material:
Oil on canvas with rich impasto and palette-knife work, typical of Frühmesser’s mature style. His use of layered impasto creates a vibrant depth of foliage, water reflections, and sky, capturing the interplay of light and season.

Condition Report:
The painting is in very good condition. The colors remain vivid, with no evidence of overpainting. Minor craquelure consistent with age, stable. No visible tears, holes, or relining. The varnish has aged evenly.
The frame is a later 20th-century gilded wooden frame in very good decorative condition, with only small signs of age-related wear.

Provenance:
– Acquired from a European private collection (Central Europe, 2020s).
– The painting comes from the decorative art trade where Frühmesser’s works circulated widely in Germany and Austria.
