Mido Multifort Hand-Wind Ref. 526866 – A vintage icon of Swiss watchmaking

This Mido Multifort, produced in the 1940's, is a true collector’s piece, representing one of the most iconic models in the brand’s history. With its robust stainless steel octagonal case, black dial with copper-tone Arabic numerals, and charming small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock, it exudes pure vintage character.

Dimensions: 28.3 mm x 35 mm (without crown, including lugs)

With its 28.3 mm diameter, this model reflects the classic style of the 1940's, when smaller watch sizes were common and considered unisex, depending on personal taste

Dial: Black with copper hands, Arabic numerals, and small seconds at 6h

Crystal: Mineral

Movement: Mido hand-wound mechanical, 15 jewels (signed)

Strap: Brown leather strap with gold-plated buckle (not Mido), 21.5 cm total length case included

Condition: Good overall vintage condition, dial and hands with beautiful patina, signs of age and use consistent with its era. Fully functional, last service history unknown.

Accessories: No box, no papers.

A historically important tool watch of its time, combining water resistance, anti-magnetism, and shock resistance – the Multifort remains a milestone in Swiss horology and a must-have for collectors of pre-war timepieces.
