Tomos Colibri 15 Sport, 50 cc, first registered in 1970, located in Slovenia, with Slovenian registration papers, 3,200 km mileage, CoC present, in very good condition.

For sale is one of the rarest models of TOMOS make which is an authentic YU/Slovenian company dating back to 1960s.
This is a 1970 RESTORED moped model "Colibri 15 Sport". It was produced in 1970-1971 years with only about ~650 made (frame # change in last 3 for these models, this exact one reads 336/~650).
It is not to be confused with similar but more avaliable and made in later years the 15SL.
It has an approved oldtimer status, need to have A1 (125cc) licence to drive, it reaches speeds up to 90km/h as originally.
Sold by a private owner, who is aiming to aquire more space in his garage, but doesn't wish to give it off without a proper price to someone who is a collector and an enjoyer as well (it's meant to be ridden not displayed).
Body and paint
• Paintwork - has been recolored into metallic golden by a professional 2 years ago. 2 minor scratches on tank.
• Chrome - newly done on front fender and suspension, tank has minor dots of rust but not impacting the look.
• Condition of seat leather and handlebar rubbers is new, redone as original.
• Tank has been cleaned inside.
• Fork seals are in good condition.
All tyres, lines, speedometer, and chain, engine, clutch and gearbox performance is as new, mainly new OEM parts used where possible. Back tyre completely redone and centered except the brakes.
Engine fully redone, all flaws assesed (including new CNC clutch bell, all bearings, seals and screws new)
Alwaus starts on first kick, hot or cold, rides a bit sluggish in low revs but once warmed up it spins in gear on road up to 11.000 rpm.
The brakes grab and release flawlessly and shifting gears is a smooth operation.
Different than original:
• Electricals- all lights work but they are 12V (up to 65W) regulated, because a new magneto + stator + CDI was mounted (original has 6V pointers.
• The footrests are a custom chrome+rubber, mounted on original baseholder frame.
Not working:
The speedometer reads a bit more than actual speed, just last week it stopped reading mileage (in km about 100 more made).
