Kippen voeren, an oil painting by E. Peroy (XX) from the Netherlands, dating to the 1970s–1980s, original edition, signed, sold with frame, with frame dimensions 52 × 62 cm.
Description from the seller
This painting shows a realistic and humorous scene from everyday rural life. In the foreground we see a man on hands and knees trying to lure a group of chickens with feed, while the animals flutter restlessly around him. His posture and facial expression reveal concentration and effort, but also a certain comic clumsiness.
To the left in the background, a woman stands by a farm door, watching from a distance — a small, everyday moment that the artist has captured with warmth and attention to detail. The wooden barn, the green meadow and the cloudy sky together form a typical rural setting full of atmosphere and character.
Dimensions with frame: 52 x 62 cm
Dimensions without frame: 40 x 50 cm
Signed and dated lower left
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framemaking workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. We also make use of restorers from the trade association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
