Ensemble de cinq Agnus Dei en cire bénite, XVIIIe - XIXe siècle

Rare ensemble composé de cinq Agnus Dei en cire, finement moulés et présentant diverses iconographies religieuses :
	•	L’Agneau mystique (Agnus Dei), symbole du Christ immolé (plusieurs exemplaires avec légende “Ecce Agnus Dei” et nom du pape Innocent XI).
	•	La Vierge à l’Enfant (Salus Populi Romani), emblème marial traditionnel de Rome.
	•	Un grand Agnus Dei sous monture filigranée en cuivre doré, représentant le Christ ressuscité.

Les Agnus Dei étaient réalisés à Rome à partir de la cire des cierges pascals bénis par le pape, puis distribués comme objets de dévotion et de protection.
Bel ensemble ancien, avec patine d’origine, quelques fissures et usures liées au temps.

Époque : XVIIIᵉ – XIXᵉ siècle
Provenance : Rome, bénédiction papale

Dimensions : de 3 à 9 cm environ
