Icône russe des saints Florus et Laurus – XIXᵉ siècle - Russie

Bois peint, tempera et riza en argent (titre 84), gravée et repoussée.
Russie, vers 1880–1890, poinçon d’orfèvre AA (atelier non identifié, probablement Moscou).

Petite icône portative représentant les saints martyrs Florus et Laurus (Св. Флоръ и Св. Лавръ), frères jumeaux et saints protecteurs des chevaux.
Ils sont figurés debout, nimbés, vêtus de tuniques claires, tenant la croix du martyre et un bouclier portant l’inscription de foi.
Les visages et mains sont peints à la tempera sur bois, protégés par une riza en argent massif, finement ciselée de motifs floraux et d’inscriptions cyrilliques identifiant les saints.

Le poinçon « АА » est frappé sur la bordure inférieure, indiquant un atelier russe de la fin du XIXᵉ siècle, probablement Moscou.

Bon état général ; légères usures à la peinture et petite déformation du métal sur la bordure supérieure.
