"If there is a winery that embodies the concept of Riojan classicism, it is without a doubt R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia. A unique winery in the world, with a way of making wine that is unparalleled and impervious to fashion.

Viña Tondonia Tinto Reserva is the maximum expression of the R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia philosophy and is made in an artisanal way: grapes selected from the winery's own vineyards, fermentation in wooden vats, very long aging of 6 years in barrels, subjected 2 rackings per year, clarified with fresh egg whites, and bottled without filtering.

Founded in 1877, it is the oldest winery in Haro, a municipality recognized as the heart of Rioja wine. The López Heredia family remains there, producing in their impressive facilities that are reminiscent of cathedrals, with underground warehouses in which those fine, long-lived wines that embody the classic Rioja, with a very differentiated profile, sleep for years. Four generations of the same family dedicated to the purpose of achieving masterpieces of craftsmanship and refinement."
