Gran escultura en bronce patinado (original) sobre base de mármol negro belga , autor Aleksandre Kéléty (firmado en la base "Kelety").
Se trata de una representación de David blandiendo su honda en la lucha contra Goliath. Con su brazo izquierdo aparta su capa mientras fijamente y con desafío mira su objetivo.
La obra tiene gran dinamismo y expresividad, estando perfectamente dibujada la figura humana con precisión y belleza.
La figura está montada sobre un zócalo de mármol negro que se encuentra en buen.
El grupo escultórico, por seguridad SE ENVÍA DESMONTADO, Y EN DOS PAQUETES DIFERENTES, siendo muy sencillo su montaje con unos simples alicates.
El grupo escultórico tiene unas medidas de 60 x 17 x 28 cms.
Es bastante pesada, superando los 16 kgs.

Alexandre Kelety fue un escultor húngaro nacido en Budapest sobre 1874 y que trabajó sobre todo en Francia, donde llegó pasada la Gran Guerra. 
Estudió primero en Toulouse y posteriormente en París donde se afincó. Escultor de  animales , guerreros , cazadores y bailarinas, trabajó sobre todo el bronce y también la criselefantinas (al estilo de Chiparus).
Trabajó con los editores más importantes de París:  Etling, Goldschreider, Les Neveux de Jules Lehmann, siendo también creador de objetos cotidianos como  lámparas eléctricas u objetos decorativos y de sobremesa.
