Agostino Carracci (1557-1602). Crucifixion, c. 1590. Central part of the large print originally in three plates after the famous painting by Tintoretto in Scuola di San Rocco. Engraving, 51,5 x 40 cm. The name of the engraver is on the left part of this plate, part that is missing here (see British museum https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/object/P_U-2-23). On laid paper with watermark. Lifetime impression. Some restored tears basically visible on the back. Beautiful and important italian print.
