Description from the seller

This image comes from the legacy of the artist's family.

Storms was educated at the pedagogical academy. Initially, he was a teacher of manual skills. He also attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he studied under Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz. In 1975, he debuted as a visual artist with an exhibition of his bronze sculptures in Sittard. Subsequently, he held exhibitions both domestically and internationally. He also started a gallery and a sculpture garden, the Procure, in Sterksel. He mainly works in bronze, with ballerinas and horses recurring themes in his work. His horses are not static animals but seem to be in constant motion.

The dimensions of the work are 90 x 28 x 20 cm including the pedestal.

Shipping is possible by arrangement after the auction.

Viewing is, of course, possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we collaborate with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you wish to make use of this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
