Very beautiful vintage dress watch from the 1950s of the Swiss top brand Wittnauer.
In the 1950s, Wittnauer was taken over by Longines.
 These two top brands were 
put in the market at the same time by Longines.
This specimen has a beautiful 33mm 10 kt gold filled case. 35mm, including crown.
 The thickness is about 10mm and the watch has 
very beautiful "fancy" lugs with a light bent.
The dial has a very fine patina, with a copper glow shining through the brown-black colour.
In my opinion certainly not disturbing, but rather beautiful. Together with the gold indexes and hands, a very elegant "look" is created.
I tried to detach the case back, but it's well mounted.
 This is not a problem for a watchmaker.

Therefore, I have not been able to view / review the clockwork. However, it is completely automatic and runs well for a vintage watch.
The watch has a vintage 16mm green strap (lugs -17mm). This looks new. The strap is good for a wrist size up to 20cm.
Only the Wittnauer comes in a neat quality watch box
