RARE Philips AL990 shortwave radio, excellent, unique, superb performance!
Collector's item.
Made in Holland from 1982, by Royal Philips. This was their first shortwave radio with an integrated digital frequency display. Similarly to the Panasonic RF-2200, is has been equipped with a rotable ferrite antenna for long- and medium waves to locat the transmitter direction (included, parked on the back side when not in use), and like in other shortwave receivers from that era, it had also a plug-in loop antenna.
