The first Bang & Olufsen record player which got the name BeoGram, was built between 1965 and 1973 and was designed by Jacob Jensen, so this BeoGram 1000 is over 45 years old. 

I have fully disassembled the switching mechanism/fine-tuning, have carefully cleaned and oiled all parts. 
The anchor in the motor on which the brake shoes are mounted has been centered so the rpm can be adjusted correctly.
The arm height has also been adjusted.
The oilite bearing has been provided with new oil by means of a vacuum process, so the motor is free of maintenance for years.

The wooden cabinet is made of rosewood, this has a nice, dark flamed grain. 
I have sanded it and then treated it with rosewood oil. 
I have thoroughly cleaned the deck and treated it with a nourishing oil as well. 
The dust cover has some small scratches, which is normal for the age of this device.

To complete the revision, I have put in a new drive belt and I have replaced the 5-pin DIN plug.

Provided with a SP6/7 needle and cartridge in good condition.
