CITES Appendix B - captive-bred
Beautiful skeleton of this Ara Ararauna, this (Paco) unfortunately only lived to be 3.5 years old, and died a natural death.
 
We had it mounted by an assistant of a surgeon who works in the Hospital of Genk.
Since the beak could not be repaired it was remade, a job well done, the same goes for the toe nails
which he deliberately did not color black, as that would have been less beautiful.
It stands on a stick mounted on a Belgian blue limestone and the whole under domed glass, given the extreme vulnerability of this lot the only possibility is to pick it up.
This really is a very special item!! You will get a declaration from the seller see photos 28 to 30!
