A large compass from the famous Nautical Compass brand.  It’s a large compass with a diameter of no less than 18 cm.
What makes this compass unique is that it has no bubble. There is a small problem with the compass. The disc is not straight so it jars sometimes. It can be repaired but I’m not equipped for that. 
The compass is hanged by a gimbal in a compass house which is in good condition. The only thing that’s gone is the glass.
On the compass housing it says that it’s a Lifeboat compass from 1924 with the number 879. Great Britain. However, I’m not sure if the year fits the compass. The connoisseur will know. The material is copper/brass. 
On both sides is an oil lamp. 
I have many photos, so you will know what you are buying.
